अपरे च महाभाग्या मन्दभाग्यास्तथापरे । अकुलीनास्तथा चान्ये कुलीनाश्न तथापरे,इस जगत्में कुछ लोग महान् भाग्यशाली हैं तो कुछ लोग मन्दभाग्य हैं, कुछ लोग निन्दित कुलमें उत्पन्न हैं तो दूसरे लोग उच्चकुलमें
apare ca mahābhāgyā mandabhāgyās tathāpare | akulīnāś tathā cānye kulīnāś ca tathāpare ||
“Di dunia ini, sebagian orang sangat beruntung, sementara yang lain kurang beruntung. Ada yang terlahir dalam keluarga yang dipandang rendah atau tercela, dan ada pula yang lahir dalam garis keturunan mulia.”
श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच
