धर्मनिन्दा–धर्मोपासनाफलम् तथा साध्वाचारलक्षणम्

तत्रासौ निरयं प्राप्तो वर्णभ्रष्टो बहिष्कृत: | ब्रह्मलोकात्‌ परिश्रष्ट: शूद्र: समुपजायते

tatrāsau nirayaṁ prāpto varṇabhraṣṭo bahiṣkṛtaḥ | brahmalokāt pariśraṣṭaḥ śūdraḥ samupajāyate ||

Di sana ia jatuh ke neraka, menjadi orang yang menyimpang dari tatanan varṇa dan terbuang. Terhalang dari Brahmaloka, kemudian ia terlahir kembali dalam rahim seorang śūdra. Bait ini menegaskan akibat etis dari meninggalkan kewajiban dan laku yang ditetapkan: hukum karma dan kelahiran kembali menjadi pengatur kedudukan sosial sekaligus rohani.
