न चैकत्र समासक्तो न चैकग्रामगोचर: । मुक्तो हाटति निर्मुक्तो न चैकपुलिनेशय:

na caikatra samāsakto na caikagrāmago caraḥ | mukto hāṭati nirmukto na caikapulineśayaḥ ||

Seorang pertapa jangan melekat pada satu tempat saja, jangan membatasi hidupnya pada satu desa semata, dan jangan selalu tidur di tepi sungai yang sama. Terbebas dari segala keterikatan, sepenuhnya lepas, hendaknya ia mengembara sesukanya—tak terbelenggu, menguasai diri, dan tanpa kemelekatan.
