2 अं ड-ऑ का त्रिशर्दाधिकशततमो<्ध्याय: अरुन्धती
bhīṣma uvāca | tatastvṛṣigaṇāḥ sarve pitaraś ca sadevatāḥ | arundhatīṃ tapovṛddhām apṛcchanta samāhitāḥ ||
Bhishma berkata: Kemudian semua rombongan resi, bersama para Pitṛ dan para dewa, mendatangi Arundhatī yang telah menjadi agung karena tapa; dengan batin yang hening mereka mengajukan pertanyaan, ingin mendengar dari mulutnya rahasia terdalam tentang dharma.
भीष्म उवाच
Dharma is presented as a subtle ‘secret’ best approached through humility and disciplined attention, by seeking guidance from one established in tapas and moral authority.
Bhishma narrates that sages, ancestors (Pitṛs), and gods collectively approach Arundhatī and, with focused minds, question her to learn the deepest principles of dharma.
