Sāma (Sāntva) and Dāna: The Brāhmaṇa’s Conciliatory Release from a Rākṣasa
यदेव ददत: पुण्यं तदेव प्रतिगृह्नतः । न होकचक्रं वर्तेत इत्येवमृषयों विदु:
yad eva dadataḥ puṇyaṃ tad eva pratigṛhṇataḥ | na hokacakraṃ varteta ity evam ṛṣayo viduḥ ||
Kebajikan yang diperoleh sang pemberi, itulah pula kebajikan yang sama diperoleh oleh penerima yang menerimanya dengan benar. Para ṛṣi memahami: tanpa timbal-balik demikian, roda tatanan dunia takkan berputar.
