नहुषोपाख्यानम्—दीपदान-धूप-बलीकर्म-प्रशंसा
Nahūṣa Episode and the Commendation of Lamp-Gifting and Household Offerings
पतितो5पि महाराज भूतले स्मृतिमानभूत् । प्रसादयामास भृगुं शापान्तो मे भवेदिति
patito 'pi mahārāja bhūtale smṛtimān abhūt | prasādayāmāsa bhṛguṁ śāpānto me bhaved iti ||
Bhishma berkata, “Wahai Raja Agung, meski telah jatuh ke tanah, ia tetap sadar dan ingat. Dengan pikiran, ‘Semoga kutukku berakhir,’ ia berusaha menenangkan resi Bhrigu.”
