Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
श्रियस्तु भाग: संजज्ञे रत्यर्थ पृथिवीतले । भीष्मकस्य कुले साध्वी रुक्मिणी नाम नामत:
śriyastu bhāgaḥ saṃjajñe ratyarthaṃ pṛthivītale | bhīṣmakasya kule sādhvī rukmiṇī nāma nāmataḥ ||
Waiśampāyana berkata: Demi sukacita dunia di bumi, lahirlah satu bagian dari Śrī (Lakṣmī); ia menampakkan diri dalam wangsa Bhīṣmaka sebagai wanita suci bernama Rukmiṇī.
