Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
तुष्टोडभिचारसंयुक्तमाचचक्षे यथाविधि । उवाच चैनां भगवान् प्रीतो5स्मि सुभगे तव,भगवान् दुर्वासाने संतुष्ट होकर पृथाको प्रयोग-विधिसहित एक मन्त्रका विधिपूर्वक उपदेश किया और कहा--'सुभगे! मैं तुमपर बहुत प्रसन्न हूँ
tuṣṭo 'bhicārasaṃyuktam ācacakṣe yathāvidhi | uvāca caināṃ bhagavān prīto 'smi subhage tava ||
Waiśampāyana berkata: Setelah puas, sang resi mengajarkan kepadanya sebuah mantra beserta tata cara penerapannya menurut aturan. Lalu, dengan hati gembira, beliau berkata, “Wahai wanita yang beruntung, aku sangat berkenan kepadamu.”
