Shloka 63

Droṇa’s Ācārya-Dakṣiṇā: Capture of Drupada and Division of Pāñcāla (द्रोण-आचार्यदक्षिणा)

ततो वासुकिरभ्येत्य नागैरनुगतस्तदा

tato vāsukir abhyetya nāgair anugatas tadā

Kemudian Vāsuki datang mendekat bersama para Nāga. Ia memandang Bhīmasena, yang berlengan panjang, dahsyat dan perkasa. Pada saat itu juga raja Nāga Āryaka melihatnya—Āryaka adalah kakek dari pihak ibu bagi Śūrasena, ayah Pṛthā. Sambil mengenali keturunannya, Āryaka memeluk rapat keturunan dari keturunannya itu ke dada, penuh sukacita. Raja Nāga Vāsuki yang termasyhur pun sangat berkenan kepada Bhīma dan berkata: “Pelayanan apa yang paling berkenan baginya? Haruskah kita mempersembahkan timbunan harta—emas dan tumpukan permata?”
