न सीदेतामदुःखाहें मा गमो भरतर्षभ । “इस मार्गपर केवल वायु चल सकती है तथा सिद्ध महर्षि भी जा सकते हैं। इस पर्वतराजपर चलती हुई ये दोनों राजकुमारियाँ कैसे कष्ट न पायेंगी? भरतवंशशिरोमणे! ये दोनों रानियाँ दुःख सहन करनेके योग्य नहीं हैं; अतः आप न चलिये'

na sīdetām aduḥkhāhe mā gamo bharatarṣabha

Biarlah kedua wanita ini—yang tak terbiasa menanggung derita—jangan tertekan. Janganlah melanjutkan, wahai yang terbaik di antara Bharata. Di jalan ini hanya angin yang dapat bergerak, dan para resi yang telah sempurna pun baru dapat melaluinya; bagaimana kedua putri raja ini dapat berjalan di atas raja segala gunung tanpa menderita? Wahai permata mahkota wangsa Bharata, kedua permaisuri ini tidak layak dipaksa menanggung kepedihan demikian; karena itu, janganlah engkau maju.
