सन्ति क्वचिन्महादर्यों दुर्गा: काश्चिद् दुरासदा: । नातिक्रामेत पक्षी यान् कुत एवेतरे मृगा:
santi kvacin mahādaryō durgāḥ kāścid durāsadāḥ | nātikrāmet pakṣī yān kuta evetare mṛgāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Di beberapa tempat ada gua-gua raksasa dan celah-celah pegunungan yang berbahaya, begitu sukar dimasuki hingga nyaris tak terjangkau. Wilayah seperti itu bahkan tak dapat dilintasi burung—apalagi makhluk lain seperti rusa.”
