Adhyaya 89: शौचाचारलक्षणम् — सदाचार, भैक्ष्यचर्या, प्रायश्चित्त, द्रव्यशुद्धि, आशौच-निर्णय
योगध्यानैकनिष्ठाश् च निर्लेपाः काञ्चनं यथा शुद्धानां शोधनं नास्ति विशुद्धा ब्रह्मविद्यया
yogadhyānaikaniṣṭhāś ca nirlepāḥ kāñcanaṃ yathā śuddhānāṃ śodhanaṃ nāsti viśuddhā brahmavidyayā
Mereka yang teguh satu tujuan dalam yoga dan meditasi tetap tak ternoda, bagaikan emas. Bagi yang telah suci tiada lagi penyucian; oleh Brahma-vidyā—kebijaksanaan pembebas yang menyingkap Pati Śiva dan memutus pāśa dari paśu—mereka menjadi amat murni.
