ध्यानयज्ञः, संसार-विष-निरूपणम्, पाशुपतयोगः, परा-अपरा विद्या, चतुर्वस्था-विचारः (अध्यायः ८६)

उपास्यमानो वेदैश् च शास्त्रैर्नानाविधैरपि न वैष वेदशास्त्राणि सर्वज्ञो यास्यति प्रभुः

upāsyamāno vedaiś ca śāstrairnānāvidhairapi na vaiṣa vedaśāstrāṇi sarvajño yāsyati prabhuḥ

Walau dipuja melalui Weda dan berbagai śāstra, Tuhan Yang Mahatahu dan Mahatinggi tidak dapat dicapai semata-mata lewat kepandaian Weda dan kitab-kitab suci.
