Vibhaga 1, Adhyaya 74 — ब्रह्मप्रोक्तलिङ्गार्चनविधिः

Materials, Classes, and Fruits of Linga-Worship

स्फाटिकं वरुणो राजा आदित्यास्ताम्रनिर्मितम् मौक्तिकं सोमराड् धीमांस् तथा लिङ्गमनुत्तमम्

sphāṭikaṃ varuṇo rājā ādityāstāmranirmitam mauktikaṃ somarāḍ dhīmāṃs tathā liṅgamanuttamam

Raja Varuṇa menegakkan Liṅga dari kristal. Para Āditya menegakkan Liṅga dari tembaga, dan Soma-rāja yang bijaksana menegakkan Liṅga yang tiada banding dari mutiara. Dengan lambang-lambang suci yang berbeda, mereka memuliakan Pati Śiva Yang Mahatinggi.
