जपेयं कोटिमन्यां वै भूयो ऽपि तव तेजसा / इत्युक्ते भगवानाह न जप्तव्यं त्वया पुनः
japeyaṃ koṭimanyāṃ vai bhūyo 'pi tava tejasā / ityukte bhagavānāha na japtavyaṃ tvayā punaḥ

By presenting “Bhagavan” as the authoritative bestower of mantra-fruit and restraint, the verse aligns with the Kurma Purana’s synthesis where the supreme Lord (whether addressed as Vishnu/Kurma or as Īśvara) governs yoga, japa, and liberation without sectarian conflict.
