Āvāhāryaka-Śrāddha: Qualifications of Recipients, Paṅkti-Pāvana, and Exclusions

अनाश्रमो यो द्विजः स्यादाश्रमी वा निरर्थकः / मिथ्याश्रमी च ते विप्रा विज्ञेयाः पङ्क्तिदूषकाः

anāśramo yo dvijaḥ syādāśramī vā nirarthakaḥ / mithyāśramī ca te viprā vijñeyāḥ paṅktidūṣakāḥ

Seorang dwija yang hidup tanpa āśrama, atau yang menyandang nama āśramī namun tanpa laku disiplin, serta yang berpura-pura sebagai āśramī—para brāhmaṇa demikian dikenal sebagai perusak pañkti, pencemar barisan jamuan suci.
