gaṅgādiṣaṭkaṃ samameva nityaṃ parasparaṃ nottamaṃ nādhamaṃ ca / pradhānāgneḥ pāvikānyaiva gaṅgā sadā śubhā nātra vicāryamasti
Enam tirta suci yang bermula dari Gaṅgā senantiasa setara dalam pahala; di antara mereka tiada yang lebih tinggi atau lebih rendah. Namun Gaṅgā—lahir dari api purba dan bersifat menyucikan—selalu membawa keberkahan; hal ini tak perlu diperdebatkan.
