FAQs

This verse links dhṛti to the heart-abiding prāṇa (vāyu): dhṛti is the sustaining steadiness that upholds life and supports continuous God-remembrance.

By emphasizing the heart as the seat of prāṇa and remembrance of Hari, it suggests that inner steadiness and devotion shape consciousness—key factors influencing the soul’s direction and experience beyond death in Purāṇic teaching.

Cultivate dhṛti through breath awareness and daily Hari-smaraṇa (remembering Viṣṇu), especially in stressful moments—training the mind to remain steady and devotional.
