ब्राह्मणोऽहं महाभाग तापसः क्षुधयार्दितः । चौरभावमनुप्राप्तो भक्ष्यं पश्यामि भाण्डके

brāhmaṇo'haṃ mahābhāga tāpasaḥ kṣudhayārditaḥ | caurabhāvamanuprāpto bhakṣyaṃ paśyāmi bhāṇḍake

Aku berkata: 'Wahai yang sangat beruntung, aku adalah seorang petapa Brahmana, tersiksa oleh rasa lapar. Aku telah mengambil perilaku seorang pencuri dan sedang mencari makanan di dalam periuk ini.'
