This verse states that Puṣkara-dvīpa lies beyond the ocean of whey, is twice the size of the previous island, and is surrounded by an equally vast ocean of sweet water.
Kamalāsana refers to Brahmā, the lotus-seated creator, for whom a great lotus-like seat with innumerable golden petals is described on Puṣkara-dvīpa.
The verse encourages a sense of humility and wonder by presenting a vast, ordered universe, helping a seeker remember the Supreme order behind creation and cultivate reverence in spiritual practice.
