ततश्च सहदेवोऽभूत् सोमापिर्यच्छ्रुतश्रवा: । परीक्षिरनपत्योऽभूत् सुरथो नाम जाह्नव: ॥ ९ ॥
tataś ca sahadevo ’bhūt somāpir yac chrutaśravāḥ parīkṣir anapatyo ’bhūt suratho nāma jāhnavaḥ
Dari Jarāsandha lahir Sahadeva; dari Sahadeva lahir Somāpi; dan dari Somāpi lahir Śrutaśravā. Parīkṣi, putra Kuru, tidak memiliki keturunan; namun Jahnu, putra Kuru, mempunyai putra bernama Suratha.
They are kings listed in the Puru dynasty genealogy; the verse notes their appearance in succession and specifically mentions that Parīkṣi was childless.
