अहो जाये तिष्ठ तिष्ठ घोरे न त्यक्तुमर्हसि । मां त्वमद्याप्यनिर्वृत्य वचांसि कृणवावहै ॥ ३४ ॥
aho jāye tiṣṭha tiṣṭha ghore na tyaktum arhasi māṁ tvam adyāpy anirvṛtya vacāṁsi kṛṇavāvahai
Wahai istriku tercinta, berhentilah, berhentilah! Wahai yang teramat keras, engkau tidak patut meninggalkanku. Aku tahu hingga kini aku belum membuatmu bahagia; namun karena itu engkau tak layak menolakku. Sekalipun engkau telah memutuskan meninggalkan kebersamaanku, marilah kita berbicara sejenak.
