The Dynasty of Vaivasvata Manu Begins — Ilā/Sudyumna and the Birth of Purūravā
This verse states that Vivasvān was born as the son of Kaśyapa through Aditi, who is described as the daughter of Dakṣa.
Śukadeva outlines the sacred dynastic line leading to the Sūrya-vaṁśa, establishing the divine and dharmic roots of later kings and avatāra-related histories.
The verse encourages reverence for dharmic succession—remembering that one’s life gains meaning when connected to sacred responsibility, gratitude to forebears, and devotion to the Supreme who guides history.
