FAQs

This verse shows a devotee’s natural reverence: Uddhava repeatedly bows, circumambulates the Lord, and honors His feet—expressing complete surrender and devotion at the moment of separation.

Because Krishna’s earthly pastimes were nearing their conclusion; even after receiving the Lord’s instructions, Uddhava felt intense separation (viraha) and reluctantly departed for Dvārakā.

Cultivate humility and gratitude: regularly offer respect through prayer, remembrance, and devotional routine, and learn to hold steady faith even during separation, loss, or change.
