Daśa-lakṣaṇam
ब्रह्मन्निदं समाख्यातं शाखाप्रणयनं मुने: । शिष्यशिष्यप्रशिष्याणां ब्रह्मतेजोविवर्धनम् ॥ २५ ॥
brahmann idaṁ samākhyātaṁ śākhā-praṇayanaṁ muneḥ śiṣya-śiṣya-praśiṣyāṇāṁ brahma-tejo-vivardhanam
Wahai brāhmaṇa, telah kujelaskan dengan tuntas bagaimana Mahāmuni Vyāsadeva menyusun dan mengembangkan cabang-cabang Veda, beserta garis murid, murid dari murid. Mendengarkan kisah ini menumbuhkan brahma-tejas, daya rohani.
Thus end the purports of the humble servants of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda to the Twelfth Canto, Seventh Chapter, of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, entitled “The Purāṇic Literatures.”
This verse states that the sage’s arrangement of Vedic branches was explained and that such organization strengthens the brahma-tejas (spiritual potency) of the disciplic line—disciples and their descendants.
Śukadeva concludes his explanation of how Vedic knowledge was systematized and preserved through teacher-disciple succession, assuring Parīkṣit that this transmission enhances spiritual strength across generations.
