वैदूर्यकृतसोपाना वाप्य उत्पलमालिनी: । प्राप्तं किम्पुरुषैर्दृष्ट्वा त आराद्ददृशुर्वटम् ॥ ३१ ॥
vaidūrya-kṛta-sopānā vāpya utpala-mālinīḥ prāptaṁ kimpuruṣair dṛṣṭvā ta ārād dadṛśur vaṭam
Mereka melihat tangga-tangga pemandian di tepi danau terbuat dari vaidūrya-maṇi, dan airnya dipenuhi teratai biru. Setelah melewati danau-danau itu, mereka mendekati sebuah pohon beringin raksasa.
It describes a beautiful sacred pond with gem-made steps and lotus garlands, and mentions the presence of the Kimpuruṣas, after which a banyan tree is seen nearby.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī is narrating these details to Mahārāja Parīkṣit as part of the description of the events around Dakṣa’s sacrificial arena.
