धूमेनाव्रियते वह्निर्यथादर्शो मलेन च । यथोल्बेनावृतो गर्भस्तथा तेनेदमावृतम् ॥ ३.३८ ॥
dhūmenāvriyate vahnir yathādarśo malena ca | yatholbenāvṛto garbhas tathā tenedam āvṛtam || 3.38 ||
Sebagaimana api tertutup asap, sebagaimana cermin tertutup debu, sebagaimana janin tertutup rahim—demikianlah ini (pengetahuan) tertutup oleh itu (nafsu keinginan).
As fire is covered by smoke, as a mirror by dust, as an embryo by the womb, so this is covered by that (desire).
