Sukta 3

ये ते पूर्वे परागता अपरे पितरश्च ये। तेभ्यो घृतस्य कुल्यैऽतु शतधारा व्युन्दती

yé te pū́rve párāgatā́ ápare pitáraś ca yé | tébhyo ghṛtásya kulyā́ etu śatá-dhārā́ vyundatī́ |

To those thy Fathers, the former who have gone afar, and the later who are—unto them let the channel of ghee go forth, a hundred-streamed flood welling and spreading.

Kepada para Pitṛ (leluhur)mu—yang terdahulu telah pergi jauh, dan yang kemudian masih ada—biarlah saluran ghṛta (mentega suci) mengalir menuju mereka, menjadi banjir seratus aliran, memancar dan menyebar.
