उदीच्यां त्वा दिशि पुरा संवृतः स्वधायामा दधामि बाहुच्युता पृथिवी द्यामिवोपरि । लोककृतः पथिकृतो यजामहे ये देवानां हुतभागा इह स्थ

IAST Transliteration

udī́cyāṃ tvā diśí purā́ saṃvṛ́taḥ svadhā́yām ā́ dadhāmi bāhucyútā pṛthivī́ dyā́m iva úpari | lokakṛ́taḥ pathikṛ́to yajāmahe yé devā́nāṃ hutábhāgā ihá sthá ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

In the northern quarter, in front, enclosed about, in svadhā I set thee down—cast from the arms—upon the Earth, as heaven is set above. We worship the World-ordainers, the Path-ordainers, who have their portion in the offered gift: be present here.

Translation

Di penjuru utara, di hadapan, dilingkupi sekeliling, dalam svadhā aku mendudukkan engkau—terlepas dari pelukan lengan—di atas Bumi, sebagaimana langit ditegakkan di atas. Kami memuja para penata dunia, para penata jalan, yang memperoleh bagiannya dalam persembahan yang dihaturkan: hadirlah di sini.
