दक्षिणां दिशमभि नक्षमाणौ पर्यावर्तेथामभि पात्रमेतत्। तस्मिन् वां यमः पितृभिः संविदानः पक्वाय शर्म बहुलं नि यच्छात्

IAST Transliteration

dákṣiṇā́m díśam abhí nákṣamāṇau paryā́varteथām abhí pā́tram etát | tásmin vāṃ yamáḥ pitṛ́bhiḥ saṃvidānáḥ pakvā́ya śárma bahuláṃ ní yacchāt ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Seeking the southern quarter, turn ye about, encompassing this vessel. Therein may Yama, in concord with the Fathers, bestow for the cooked oblation abundant shelter and sure protection.

Translation

Wahai kalian berdua, mengarah ke penjuru selatan, berputarlah mengelilingi, meliputi bejana ini. Di dalamnya semoga Yama, seiring seia dengan para Pitṛ (Bapa Leluhur), menganugerahkan bagi persembahan yang telah dimasak (pakva) perlindungan yang berlimpah dan naungan yang teguh.
