Sukta 3

आदित्येभ्यो अङ्गिरोभ्यो मध्विदं घृतेन मिश्रं प्रति वेदयामि । शुद्धहस्तौ ब्राह्मणस्यानिहत्यैतं स्वर्गं सुकृतावपीतम्

ādityébhyo áṅgirobhyo mádhu idáṁ ghṛténa miśráṁ práti vedayāmi | śuddhá-hastau brāhmaṇásyā́nihatyai etáṁ svargáṁ sukṛtā́v ápītam

Unto the Ādityas, unto the Aṅgirases, this honey, mingled with ghee, I duly present. With hands made pure—unto the Brāhmaṇa’s unassailability—this heaven is entered by him through well-doing.

Kepada para Āditya, kepada para Aṅgirasa, madu ini—yang tercampur dengan ghṛta (ghee)—aku persembahkan dengan semestinya. Dengan tangan yang disucikan—demi ketakterjamahan sang Brāhmaṇa—surga ini dimasuki olehnya, yang telah diminum oleh kebajikan.
