अपरुद्धं तु मुख्यपुत्रापसर्पाः प्रतिपाद्यानयेयुः माता वा प्रतिगृहीता ॥ कZ_०१.१८.१३ ॥
aparuddhaṃ tu mukhyaputrāpasarpāḥ pratipādyānayeyuḥ mātā vā pratigṛhītā
But if he is under restraint, the principal prince’s adherents should secure him and bring him out; or the mother, having taken him into her custody, should do so.
It prioritizes the ‘principal’ (legitimate) prince and treats his recovery as a state-stability necessity managed by loyal factions or the queen-mother.
She can provide lawful-looking protection and cover movement as ‘custody,’ reducing overt confrontation.
