Sūrya-pūjā-vidhi — The Procedure for Sun-Worship

पूरयेद्रक्तवर्णेन ललाटाकृष्टविन्दुना तं संपूज्य रवेरङ्गैः कृत्वा रक्षावगुण्ठनं

pūrayedraktavarṇena lalāṭākṛṣṭavindunā taṃ saṃpūjya raveraṅgaiḥ kṛtvā rakṣāvaguṇṭhanaṃ

Ia hendaknya mengisi (titik/diagram yang ditetapkan) dengan warna merah, memakai sebuah titik yang ditarik dari dahi. Setelah memuja tanda/diagram itu dengan upacara anggota (aṅga-upacāra) bagi Ravi, ia melakukan raksā-vaguṇṭhana, yakni penutupan pelindung.
