Saat memasuki hutan, hendaknya dilakukan homa dengan rumput dūrvā, ghee, dan beras utuh (akṣata); dan ketika meteor jatuh atau bumi bergetar, keberuntungan diperoleh dengan persembahan wijen dan ghee.
