आरनालस्तु कुल्माषं वाह्लीकं हिङ्गु रामठं निशा हरिद्रा पीता स्त्री खण्डे मत्स्यण्डिफाणिते

‘Āranāla’ adalah nama lain bagi kulmāṣa (bubur asam/olahan kacang yang difermentasi). ‘Vāhlīka’ ialah hiṅgu (asafoetida), juga disebut ‘rāmaṭha’. ‘Niśā’ ialah haridrā (kunyit), juga bernama ‘pītā’ dan ‘strī’. ‘Khaṇḍa’ adalah sebutan bagi matsyaṇḍī-phāṇita (varian gula merah/molase).
