अतर्किते तु सहसा स्यात् पुरः पुरतो ऽग्रतः स्वाहा देवहविर्दाने श्रौषट् वौषट् वषट् स्वधा

Dalam keadaan tak terduga dan mendadak, segera diucapkan ‘puraḥ’, ‘purataḥ’, ‘agrataḥ’ yakni ‘di depan’. Dalam persembahan havis kepada para dewa diucapkan ‘svāhā’; seruan ritualnya ‘śrauṣaṭ’, ‘vauṣaṭ’, ‘vaṣaṭ’; sedangkan untuk leluhur ialah ‘svadhā’.
