Concept: Ritual efficacy depends on precise sequencing and spatial placement (right/left/center) aligned to mantra order.
Application: Use a fixed checklist for homa: ājya-bhāga → cakṣuṣī pair → remaining mantras, avoiding omissions and reversals.
Khanda Section: Puja-vidhi (Arcana & Homa-krama / Deity-worship and fire-offering procedure)
Primary Rasa: Shanta
Secondary Rasa: Adbhuta

Sandhi Resolution Notes: juhuyātsarvamantrānarcākrameṇa = juhuyāt + sarva-mantrān + arcā-krameṇa; dakṣiṇottare = dakṣiṇa-uttare (dvandva).
Related Themes: Agni Purana 24 (ājya offerings; mantra-homa order; arcā-krama)
It gives the homa-krama: first the two ājya-bhāga ghee-offerings, then the paired ‘cakṣuṣī’ oblations (right and left) placed in the central sequence, and finally the offering of all remaining mantras in the exact arcā-krama.
By preserving precise liturgical micro-procedures—named offering-units (ājya-bhāga), paired ritual acts (cakṣuṣī), and strict sequencing (arcā-krama)—it functions as a practical manual alongside the Purana’s broader coverage of dharma, polity, arts, and sciences.
Performing oblations in the correct order is held to ensure mantra-siddhi and ritual purity, aligning the worshipper’s act with śāstric injunctions so the sacrifice becomes efficacious and merit-bearing rather than defective.
