Varāha (default dialogue framework; explicit speaker not indicated in the fragment)
It reflects Purāṇic-era narrative conventions around marriage-giving (kanyādāna) framed with an emphasis on permission/authorization (anujñā), illustrating how social-ritual acts are rhetorically anchored in sanctioned authority within the text’s storytelling.
No geographic location is named in this verse; it is primarily a speech-act about giving a daughter to Rudra with acknowledged permission.
The verse foregrounds acting with authorization/consent (anujñā) and seeking goodwill (prasāda), presenting a normative ideal that significant actions should be undertaken with acknowledged approval and with attention to relational harmony.
