विष्णुना देवतीर्थेन तन्मूलं स्थापितं ततः ॥ तस्य शृङ्गेश्वर इति नाम तत्राभवन्महत् ॥
viṣṇunā devatīrthena tanmūlaṁ sthāpitaṁ tataḥ || tasya śṛṅgeśvara iti nāma tatrābhavan mahat ||
फिर विष्णु ने तीर्थ के साथ मिलके इसका नीचे वाला हिस्सा लगाया। उस जगह का नाम श्रृंगेश्वर पड़ा, जो बहुत बड़ा नाम है।
