Varāha (default, instructor voice in Varāha–Pṛthivī dialogue framework)
It reflects the Purāṇic synthesis of ritual calendars (tithi observances) with ancestral rites (Pitṛ-related offerings), showing continuity with broader śrāddha and yajña traditions documented in Dharma-śāstra and ancillary ritual literature.
No geographic location is specified in this verse fragment; the focus is on a calendrical marker (tithi) and a ritual procedure (prājāpatya-form offering).
The passage emphasizes responsible continuity of familial and social duty through prescribed offerings—framed as a disciplined practice that cultivates gratitude and remembrance toward ancestors and acknowledges a wider sacral order (deities).
