Ritual Procedure for Installing and Consecrating a Madhūka-Wood Icon
Varāha
It provides a consecration formula that illustrates how Purāṇic communities articulated divine presence in an installed image through standardized speech-acts (mantra).
No geographic marker appears; the mantra is portable and intended for use wherever installation is performed.
The verse frames installation as a responsible, intentional act—using controlled language to mark the transition from material object to ritually recognized presence.
