तृणादिकानि यो दद्यात्क्षुधितेन गवाऽह्निकम् ॥ गोमेधस्य फलं दिव्यं लभते मानवोत्तमः ॥
tṛṇādikāni yo dadyāt kṣudhitenā gavā'hnikam || gomedhasya phalaṃ divyaṃ labhate mānavottamaḥ ||
जो कोई भूखी गाय को रोज़ घास और खाना देता है, वो बड़ा इंसान बन जाता है। उसे गोमेध का वो फल मिलता है जो स्वर्ग में भी मिलता है।
