Recitation with translationKatha Upanishad 1.1.26

śvo bhāvā martyasya yadantakaitat sarvendriyāṇāṃ jarayanti tejaḥ | api sarvam jīvitamalpameva tavaiva vāhāstava nṛtyagīte ||

These things that are of tomorrow, O mortal, decay the vigor of all the senses. Even the whole life is short indeed. Yours alone are the vehicles, yours the dance and song.

Anityata (impermanence) of worldly life and the fleeting nature of sensory pleasuresMahavakya: Supports the understanding that worldly pursuits are transient, directing attention toward the eternal Brahman as expressed in 'Brahma Satyam Jagan Mithya'Krishna Yajur VedaTaittiriya ShakhaChandas: Anushtup
