इदं पितृभ्यो नमो अस्त्वद्य ये पूर्वासो य उपरास ईयुः । ये पार्थिवे रजस्या निषत्ता ये वा नूनं सुवृजनासु विक्षु ॥
Transliteration
idáṃ pitṛ́bhyo námo astv adyá yé pū́rvāso yá úparāsa ī́yuḥ | yé pārthíve rájasyā́ níṣattā yé vā nū́naṃ suvṛjánāsu vikṣú ||
Translation
आज हम अपने पुरखों को प्रणाम करते हैं। जो पहले से हैं और जो ऊपर चले गए हैं। जो धरती पर बैठे हैं, और जो अच्छे लोगों में हैं, सबको हमारा सलाम मिले।
