हयैरन्ये गजैरन्ये रथैरन्ये स्वलङ्कृतैः।सुकुमारा स्तथैवान्ये पद्भिरेव नरा ययुः।।।।
hayair anyē gajair anyē rathair anyē svalaṅkṛtaiḥ |
sukumārās tathaivānyē padbhir ēva narā yayuḥ ||
कुछ लोग घोड़ों पे गए, कुछ हाथी पे, कुछ सुंदर गाड़ियों पे। और जो नरम-कोमोर थे, वो पैदल ही गए।
