अरिष्टनेमिः। त्यमू॒ षु वा॒जिनं॑ दे॒वजू॑तं॒ सहो॑वानं तरु॒तारं॒ रथा॑नाम्। अरि॑ष्टनेमिं पृतना॒जिमा॒शुं स्व॒स्तये॒ तार्क्ष्य॑मि॒हा हु॑वेम
tyám ū́ ṣu vā́jinaṃ devájūtaṃ sáhovānaṃ tarutā́raṃ ráthānām | áriṣṭanemiṃ pṛtanājím āśúṃ svastáye tārkṣyám ihá huvema ||
That verily we invoke—the prize-winning swift one, god-impelled, rich in might, the over-passer of chariots; the uninjured-fellied, battle-conquering, rapid Tārkṣya—here, for our welfare.
हम उस देवता को बुलाते हैं जो जीता है, जल्दी चलता है, और देवता की तरफ़ से आगे बढ़ता है। वो रथ से भी आगे निकल जाता है। अरिष्ट-नेमि, जो लड़ाई में जीता है, जल्दी आता है, उस तार्क्ष्य को हम अपने भले के लिए बुलाते हैं।
