Sukta 54
ऋचं॒ साम॒ यदप्रा॑क्षं ह॒विरोजो॑ यजु॒र्बल॑म्। ए॒ष मा॒ तस्मा॒न्मा हिं॑सी॒द् वेदः॑ पृ॒ष्टः श॑चीपते
ṛ́caṃ sā́ma yád aprā́kṣaṃ havír-ojo yajúḥ-bálam | eṣá mā́ tásmān mā́ hiṃsīd védaḥ pṛṣṭáḥ śacīpate ||
The Ṛc, the Sāman—what I have inquired of—oblation-strength, Yajus-force: let not this Veda, when questioned, injure me therefor, O Lord of might.
मैंने ऋच और साम के बारे में पूछा है। यह हवि की ताकत है, यजुर की भी ताकत है। भगवान, जब मैं वेद को पूछता हूं, तो वो मुझे कभी तकलीफ न दे।
