य॒ज्ञो ब॑भूव॒ स आ ब॑भूव॒ स प्र ज॑ज्ञे॒ स उ॑ वावृधे॒ पुनः॑ । स दे॒वाना॒मधि॑पतिर्बभूव॒ सो अ॒स्मासु॒ द्रवि॑ण॒मा द॑धातु
yajñó babhū́va sá ā́ babhū́va sá prá jajñe sá u vāvṛ́dhe púnaḥ | sá devā́nām ádhipatir babhū́va só asmā́su dráviṇam ā́ dadhātu
Sacrifice came to be; yea, he was fully come to be: he was born forth, and verily he waxed again. He became the Gods’ over-lord; may he set wealth among us, may he bestow substance hither upon us.
यज्ञ पैदा हुआ, पूरा बन गया। वो आगे बढ़ा और फिर से बड़ा हुआ। वो देवता का मालिक बन गया। वो हम लोगों में धन डाल दे, हमें पैसा दे।
