Sukta 14
निर्ब॑लासे॒तः प्र प॑ताशु॒ङ्गः शि॑शु॒को य॑था । अथो॒ इट॑ इव हाय॒नोप॑ द्रा॒ह्यवी॑रहा
nír-balā́sa-itáḥ prá pata aśuṅgáḥ śiśukó yáthā | átho íṭ iva hāyanópa drā́hy avī́rahā
Freed from Balāsa, fly forth—blunted, like a little child. And like a dart-shot, like the year that passes, creep down and away, thou that slayest no heroes.
बलास से आज़ाद हो के भाग जाओ। अब तुम बिल्कुल छोटे बच्चे जैसा हो। जैसे कोई तीर मारकर निकल जाता है, जैसे साल गुज़र जाता है, तुम भी धीरे-धीरे निकल जाओ। तुम किसी बहादुर को मार नहीं सकते।
