स्वस्त्ययनम्। य॒मो मृ॒त्युर॑घमा॒रो नि॑रृ॒थो ब॒भ्रुः श॒र्वोऽस्ता॒ नील॑शिखण्डः । दे॒व॒ज॒नाः सेन॑योत्तस्थि॒वांस॒स्ते अ॒स्माकं॒ परि॑ वृञ्जन्तु वी॒रान्
svastyáyanam | yamó mṛtyúr agha-mā́ro nírṛtho babhrúḥ śárvo ’stā́ nī́la-śikhaṇḍaḥ | deva-janā́ḥ sénayo ’t-tasthivā́ṁsas té asmā́kaṁ pári vṛñjantu vīrā́n ||
For a safe-going: Yama, Death, the Evil-slayer, Nirṛti, Babhru, Śarva, Asta, the blue-crested—divine-born hosts, armies standing up in readiness—may they encompass round about our heroes.
यह मंत्र सेफ जर्नी के लिए है। यम, मृत्यु, और वो शक्तियाँ जो बुराई मारती हैं, वो सब हमारे साथ हों। वो देवता लोगों की सेना तैयार खड़ी है। वो हमारे वीरों को चारों तरफ से बचाएँ।
